I wrote articles for Fate Magazine in the 80's and 90's, one of my favorite mysteries was a Fate story about an strange fog like cloud. Later on, I read "Time Storms" by Jenny Randles who reported eyewitnesses accounts and gave scientific evidence for such phenomena. However it wasnt until I came to the Ocala National Forest and met KT Frankovich, five years ago, that the mystery became very real. She had lived near my twin sister's trailor on S.E. 155th Street some twenty years ago, and had seen these strange fog like clouds floating a few feet above the ground moving across Sunnyhill Preserve during the daytime.
Three years ago Barbara's friend and neighbor, Rachel Terry gave me her personal experience to put in my UFO Paranormal Documentary:
Early one morning between the hours of 2:00 and 3:00 a.m., (around the first of November 2012) I went out on my back porch and noticed a very thick and large mass of fog. This was the second time I had seen the mass in the same spot. This struck me as odd and inclined me to take a better look. As I started to glance around I noticed that there was no fog anywhere else on my property, or on any other surounding
properties. My boyfriend came out, we both stood there in awe for several minutes trying to decipher what or where this could have come from. We came to no conclusions. Neither one of us has never seen anything like this before. The mass(long triangular shaped next to a neighbor's fence) was so thick, odd shaped and only in one spot. It also, looked as if it was moving somewhat rapid, I suddenly was overwhelmed with a very eerie feeling. We both quickly went back inside and shut the door as fast as we could. Since then, I have been refraining myself from going outside in the early morning hours. So, that was the last time either one of us saw that fog resembling mass.

In my interview with Rachel she said that she was looking west at a vacant lot that borders the back yard of a neighbor's home, when she saw the long rectangular shaped fog like mass floating off the ground in the vacant lot next to her neighbor's fence. Her neighbor's security light had come on and was shinning on the mass. She could see that it appeared very thick, she thought it strange that even though the security light lit up the darkness she couldn't see through the mass. Rachel and her boyfriend's trailor is across from Barbara's on the clay dirt road 200.
I was happy to have another neighbor, Ann Alexander, who lives across from Barbara's trailor on the clay dirt road, S.E. 155th Street, give me another account of the fog/cloud phenomena. Here is my interview with her:
On October 2, 2016, between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m., Ann Alexander encountered a strange large oval shaped white cloud or fog floating several feet above highway 42. She saw it from a distance as she drove down highway 42 towards Weirsdale, Florida. She wondered if it could be smoke from a nearby fire, she didnt see anyone burning anything. The sky was cloudy with lots of storm clouds but none were as low as this "cloud". There were no other vehicles on the road. She decided to drive through the strange white "cloud" blocking the road but did so with some apprehension. Inside the mass she couldn't see even a foot ahead it was so thick, she hoped no other traffic was coming her way. She was finding it harder to breathe and began to panic. She felt that time had slowed down and that it was taking much longer than it should have to exit the fog/cloud. She was greatly relieved to finally get through to the other side, looking back in her rear view mirror she was shocked to see that the fog/cloud had disappeared.
Several months ago, just before December of 2016, I stopped in to see a friend, Gail Duprey, who lives on East Collin's Street out of Umatilla, Florida, in a small rural subdivision. Our conversation turned to the subject of paranormal events, much to my delight she told me about a personal encounter with a foglike cloud she had in the winter of 2014 or 2015. She was alone in her and her boyfriend's home, in bed watching t.v. around 2:00 a.m. when she caught something in the corner of her eye coming through the bedroom door. A oval shaped white cloud was forming itself as it entered her bedroom door from the living room, getting bigger and bigger as it moved next to her bed across the bedroom. She began to pray for protection, noting that she could not see through the "cloud". It felt cold and ominous, yet it didn't fit any description she had ever read of ectoplasma which appears with spirits of the deceased. The strange fog like cloud backed up, leaving through the door it had entered, then disappeared. Gail was shaken but very happy to see it go.
